April Art Exhibit - Patrick Donovan

Our artist for the month of April is Patrick Donovan from Oakmont. His medium is oil, acrylic, or watercolor. 

There will be a reception for Patrick on Thursday evening, April 10th, from 6-8.  Refreshments will be served, and his art will be for purchase. 

In Patrick's words: 

"My spiritual paintings are to destroy the darkness inside of people’s hearts and to bring the last which was lost, back to life. We might be weak; we might stumble and fall. We cry and we bleed. But I just want to make you sleep like a baby. We are wise in our own way. We smile on our own time, and we weep our own weight of desire and pain. My paintings are the light of people’s hearts and the soul. Once you see my paintings, they may give you the strength to make you smile, to come and appreciate again the sweetness of beauty in the heart. My desire is for my paintings to bring that warmth of happiness in a child’s eyes. I hope it brings the smile from the sky to the ground, nothing but a smile of endless beauty and time in your heart. So, I invite you to come and enjoy my paintings. May they bring the smile which you have missed for a long time and remind you of the good old times.
