Program Description:
Water has played a central role in the history of Dark Hollow Woods, as spring water was shipped from there around the world. It is an essential factor in the health of the woods today. Pennsylvania Master Naturalist Scott Hill will point out some features of our woods and highlight ways that the crucial resource of water is used in this environment. As we have seen growing issues of flooding around the country and around the world, how does storm runoff affect the health and future of our precious park?
