Program Description:

The Allegheny Valley League of Artists was founded 8 years ago. It has members from across the Allegheny Kiski Valley-Springdale, Lower Burrell, Natrona Heights, and New Kensington. It is a group committed to expanding and promoting the visual arts in the valley. The group has meetings in the Fall and Spring at the Lower Burrell Library. Members create works in photography, painting, mixed media, wood, stained glass, and collage. AVLA has previously had group shows at the Manos Gallery, Penn State New Kensington, Libraries in New Kensington, Lower Burrell, Shaler, the Verona W PA Center for the Arts, Burrell Municipal Building, and USA Gym Complex. Our president is Patti Giordano.

Information can be found on the Facebook site: Allegheny Valley League of Artists-AVLA.

The art will be exhibited the month of MAY. Most items will be for sale.

A reception will be held on Thursday, May 8th from 5-7. Refreshments will be served and the public is welcome!
