Program Description

Program Description:

Join librarian Stephanie Zimble at the library for this short lecture and let her help you turn your musical dreams into reality.  Did you know we have multitrack recording capabilities here at the Oakmont Library? Did you know that libraries let you borrow musical instruments, including synths and other digital equipment?  We’ll talk about instruments, software, and other local resources such as: the Western Pennsylvania Center for the Arts, area recording studios, Hellbender Vinyl, and more.  Handouts will be provided.  Suitable for teens and adults.  Can’t make the lecture?  Handouts will be available in our Makerspace after the event.  Looking for band members?  Add your information to our bulletin board!
