Program Description

Program Description:

Our Makerspace is a community space where you can make, create, design, and build!  Located on our Lower Level, we have a 3D printer, a Cricut vinyl cutting machine, a Brother sewing and embroidery machine, and a music station with midi keyboards, a microphone, and recording software!  We also have art and crafts supplies, Snap Circuits, VR goggles, a button maker, two Makey Makey keyboard controllers, and more.

During our open hours, the Makerspace will be open to the public and librarians will be on hand to supervise, answer questions, and offer arts and crafts supplies available so you can get creative.  No registration required, just stop by.

Would you like to use our equipment?  We can give you training that will allow you to use our equipment during Makerspace hours.  Contact Stephanie Zimble at zimbles@oakmontlibrary.org to make an appointment for training.

Kids under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when using our equipment.  All Makers must receive training before they will be permitted to use our equipment.  Please see the Makerspace page of our website for more information and policies.
