In 1943, changes in WWII military priorities led to halted mail posting/delivery, with a subsequent drop in soldiers’ morale. To fix this, the Women’s Army Corps’ all-Black battalion, the 6888, was sent to tackle years’ worth of backlogged mail.

These weekly, one-hour FREE meditation classes will be taught by monks from the Pittsburgh Buddhist Center. They are designed for beginners as a gradual training program in secular meditation practice.
