Calling all babies - join us for a program of stories, singing, rhyming and more. Baby Lapsit is for children newborn- 2 years old and focuses on socialization and vocabulary development. This program is based on the Ready To Read program.

Join Stephanie Zimble, OCL’s archivist, for a presentation on how to protect and preserve family and local history materials. She'll discuss different kinds of materials people might have in their homes and ways to store, protect and access them.

No experience necessary!  Learn chess and have fun.  Club meets every other Saturday.  

Join us at the library to learn how to play American Mahjong. If you already know how to play, all the better! We will begin on Monday, Feb. 10 and play on alternate Mondays from 10:30-1:30pm.

The Allegheny Valley League of Artists was founded 8 years ago. It has members from across the Allegheny Kiski Valley-Springdale, Lower Burrell, Natrona Heights, and New Kensington.

Bring a team of up to 4 members and have a friendly competition against other teams to see who can assemble a 300 piece puzzle the fastest! The first place team gets a small prize.

Join us in Dark Hollow Woods to celebrate our common mother, Mother Nature, on Mother's Day weekend. Wildflowers will be plentiful, and we will engage all of our senses to hear, feel, smell and taste the woods!  

Do you love to browse through cookbooks and try new recipes? Are you a foodie? Would you like to meet new people and share food with them? Then this is the club for you! Each month, we will select a cookbook and keep it at the circulation desk.
