Program Description:
A jaded Brit takes a job teaching at an Argentinian boys’ boarding school. On holiday he rescues a penguin washed up from an oil slick in Uruguay and smuggles it across the border and into his quarters. The penguin is eventually discovered and becomes a beloved mascot. Set against the turbulent and dangerous years of 1970s martial law.
Movies are shown at the Oakmont Library on the third Tuesday of the month at 3PM. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment watching some of the best recent films.
