January: West Side Story 

JANUARY MOVIE BEGINS AT 2PM

Back by popular demand! Monthly movies return to the Oakmont Library on the third Tuesday (Thursdays in summer) of the month at 3PM. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment watching some of the best recent films.

In this 2021 remake of the  1961 masterpiece, West Side Story explores forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage New York City street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds, all with the backdrop of Leonard Bernstein’s timeless music.  Stars Ansel Elgort, Rachel Zegler and Ariana DeBose. Also, Rita Moreno, who starred in the 1961 film. Directed by Stephen Spielberg.
