Back by popular demand! Monthly movies return to the Oakmont Library on the third Tuesday (Thursdays in summer) of the month at 3PM. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment watching some of the best recent films.

A bold new musical, based on the classic 1982 novel by Alice Walker, 1985 film and the 2005 Broadway musical. A story of love and resilience, this is a decades-spanning tale in rural Georgia of a woman’s       journey to independence. Celia faces many hardships, but ultimately finds extraordinary strength and hope in the bonds of sisterhood.
