Movies are shown at the Oakmont Library on the third Tuesday of the month at 3PM. Enjoy an afternoon of entertainment watching some of the best recent films.

These weekly, one-hour FREE meditation classes will be taught by monks from the Pittsburgh Buddhist Center. They are designed for beginners as a gradual training program in secular meditation practice.

Calling all babies!  Join us for a program of stories, singing, rhyming and more. Baby Lap Sit is for children newborn- 2 years old and focuses on socialization and vocabulary development.

Join us for a fun story time with reading, singing, and fun! Recommended for children ages 3-5 but all are welcome!

Using sturdy cardboard, I'll provide "looms" for everyone, yarn, and basic tools to create custom tapestries! We'll learn basic weaving techniques, practice, and have a finished project to take home.

Join us to read and discuss current fiction and non-fiction. Books are supplied by the library.

Come use our stuff to build with cardboard! Grab a chomp saw, a hot glue gun, and create something cool! We'll provide the cardboard, tools, and supplies, you provide the imagination.

Practicing gratitude daily is surprisingly beneficial for your body, mind, spirit...your mood, attitude, relationships - and more!

No experience necessary!  Learn chess and have fun.  Club meets every other Saturday.  

Join us at the library to learn how to play American Mahjong. If you already know how to play, all the better! We will begin on Monday, Feb. 10 and play on alternate Mondays from 10:30-1:30pm.

Join us one Monday a month for Kid's Book Club! 

Kids will choose their own book to read and then come to club to discuss it. We'll have refreshments, discussions, and fun book related activities!
